WRITING A REPORT

HOW TO WRITE AN EFFECTIVE OPINION ESSAYS

Before you write your essay, you may find it useful these on-line tasks. They will help you, not only revise what we learnt in class, but also write an effective one.

Giving a short talk

In the first part of your oral exam, you will be asked to talk for about 3 minutes or 4 minutes on a given topic. To have an idea of how to address this oral task, listen to Isabelle, a Swiss student preparing for her oral exam, and Peter Travis, from Splendispeaking.com, giving Isabelle feedback on how well she managed on her 2 minutes talk on the importance of a good work-life balance.
