WRITING A REPORT

In your B2 Certificate Exam you could be asked to write a report and, to help you with this task, I thought it would be a good idea to post some basic materials to guide you through this type of writing.

COLLOCATIONS

Before to do the on-line exercises, read the following tutorial on the importance of collocations in English.

You can now try the following on-line tasks: 

• Task 1 common collocations with the verbs miss, do, get and make. 
• Task 2 Extra collocations with the verbs do and make. 
• Task 3 If you feel more adventurous, you could try solving these other collocations.  

Vocabulary, phrasal verbs

One of the things you will necessarily have to learn by heart are idioms and phrasal verbs. To make this task easier for you, you can complete the following online multiple choice exercises:
